Simple Christmas Wrapping

Usually, I buy lots of pretty paper and bags for my Christmas wrapping, but for this year, I decided to go with much simpler wrapping. I have seen a ton of pretty simple packaging on Pinterest—using newspaper, brown kraft paper, and even the white side of printed paper.

I happened to have a roll of brown kraft paper from a move we made a year ago. I simply wrapped my box, found a long-forgotten bag of fabric ribbons and taped one on top, and used a stencil to color in the first initial of my recipient. I also cut out a couple of decorations from some old Christmas cards and added them to the sides. I really like the simplicity of these!

For the babies, I'll still use a colorful paper, and stay tuned for how I wrap our "Santa" gifts!

Added another version! Used red embroidery thread for my ribbon and punched a hole in a design from a Christmas card as the tag.
