Easy, Inexpensive Stocking Stuffer: Christmas S'mores

I haven't posted in a few days because we were out of town, celebrating the holiday with family. We had such a good time!

Today, I am finishing up some Christmas things, and one of them was so inexpensive and easy, I thought it would be a good post for the blog.  If you are looking for a great stocking stuffer that kids just love, these Christmas s'mores are easy and thrifty.

All you need are snack-sized storage bags, graham crackers, snack-sized Hershey's bars, and large marshmallows.

Break the graham cracker bar in half and place in the bag, add a large marshmallow next to it, and snack-sized chocolate bar last. Label it as you wish and it's done.

You could dress these up in a lot of ways—hunt down Christmas tree shaped marshmallows, use black mini chips to make a snowman face on the marshmallow, etc. I sprinkled red and green sugar sprinkles in each bag for fun.  Pretty Christmas stickers would be great for the label, also.

Cost breakdown for six s'mores (all are an estimation, since I used only a fraction of each box or bag:
Snack-size chocolate bars: $1.39
Large marshmallows: estimating 20 cents
Graham crackers: 45 cents
Bags: 20 cents

$2.24 total cost!

Here they are, peeking out of the stocking:

Consider this special treat for your child or spouse this year. It's always a hit!
